log files zimbra

There will always be opinions, both good and bad on how MagicSpam protection, rules and policies are used, and what the defaults should be. Different environments may have different needs. We try to find the perfect balance, and that is not always easy. Just remember that we have to satisfy millions of users.. not just one person.

log files zimbra

Post by oarmas » Mon Oct 11, 2010 5:33 pm

I installed magicspam beta for zimbra (6) on centos 5.
Where can I see magicspam log? I tried:

/var/log/magicspam/

but the directory is empty.

By the way, I tried this forum because I wasn´t allowd to post in the postfix forum.

Regards,

Omar

Greetings,

Log files should be accessible in the easiest sense by simply using the interface 'search logs' and 'view last 50 log entries' items on the main page. This stated, the logs should indeed be located /var/log/magicspam.

The fact that the directory is empty is indicative of one of two things:

MagicSpam is not enabled

There are permission write errors to the directory /var/log/magicspam.

Could you please confirm that your installation of MagicSpam has been Activated with your license key and Enabled?
