Dear MagicSpam-Team,
it is no longer possible to send out mails with a pdf attachment, due to the following error message:
Sep 1 16:27:42 mail amavis[23313]: (23313-01) do_notify_and_quarantine: spam level exceeds quarantine cutoff level 11
Sep 1 16:27:42 mail amavis[23313]: (23313-01) Blocked SPAM {DiscardedOutbound}, ORIGINATING_POST/MYNETS LOCAL [127.0.0.1]
We are currently running Zimbra [Release 8.8.15_GA_4362.RHEL8_64_20220721104405 RHEL8_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.15_P41] with MagicSpam [2.1-14.3].
Disabling MagicSpam does not resolve the issue, only after uninstalling MagicSpam, e-mails get sent out correctly again.
Please urgently advise us on this issue.
Zimbra / Amavis blocking attachments
Re: Zimbra / Amavis blocking attachments
Old post (sorry we didn't catch it earlier!).
Those log lines have nothing to do with MagicSpam. They appear to be strictly related to Amavis - which I believe runs SpamAssassin scans among others. From the looks of it, you have Zimbra configured to discard messages once they reach a certain spamassassin score (looks like 11 or more).
You will need to refer to Zimbra documentation to determine how to fine tune those settings, and/or how to figure out the cause of such a high score.
