How to block double extension attachments on MagicSpam or SpamAssassin

HI!

I'm getting some attachments with double extension:

virus.first.second

Like .exe.pdf, .xlsx.html and so on.

Is there any way to block this?

Hello NubeNinja,

MagicSpam does not currently have the ability to block emails based on the attachment extension. We have created a development ticket and passed it along to the product team for further consideration.

However, it does appear like cPanel provides native support to block email based on the extension of the attachment via:

WHM Panel >> Exim Configuration Manager >> Basic Editor >> Attachments: Filter messages with dangerous attachments

You will need to update the filter in order to block attachments with double attachments by following the following guide: https://documentation.cpanel.net/displa ... ilter+File
