What's wrong?

There will always be opinions, both good and bad on how MagicSpam protection, rules and policies are used, and what the defaults should be. Different environments may have different needs. We try to find the perfect balance, and that is not always easy. Just remember that we have to satisfy millions of users.. not just one person.

Post by tinhkho27 » Thu Nov 19, 2020 3:04 am

Dear,

I received normally the notice:

"Server IP 188.225.85.36 listed as abusive. See http://spamauditor.org/best-practices/ip-reputation/ for more information.. Protection provided by MagicSpam 2.1-14.1 http://www.magicspam.com"

AND

"Your server IP address [124.158.6.243] is missing a reverse DNS entry. See http://spamauditor.org/best-practices/c ... verse-dns/ for more information.. Protection provided by MagicSpam 2.1-14.1 http://www.magicspam.com"

All I want that I can remove them from blacklist but I can't do that. Please tell me how I get these troubles. Thanks

Hello tinkho27,

Thank you for your post.

If you follow the URL in the rejection notice, you should find detailed information as to why your message was blocked.

It appears that your IP address (188.225.85.36 ) is listed on the MIPSPACE, UCEPROTECT and number of other reputation lists. Please contact appropriate list maintainers for delisting and further support.

Also, it seems that your mail server was missing a revers DNS (PTR) record at the time of delivery or there was an issue with your DNS. Please also ensure that your PTR record is set and in correct format for mail servers:

e.g:
mail.domain.tld

Please note that we are the developers of the software and not the operators of the email server. If you feel your messages are being blocked without just cause, contact the recipient and ask them to 'whitelist' you, or contact your email administrator to address the issues that caused your messages to be rejected.

We hope this information helps.
