Notwithstanding the message MagicSpam posted months ago regarding this issue. Please note that Plesk strongly recommends to uninstall MagicSpam immediately and replace it with Plesk Email Security since they have stopped all support for MagicSpam. So it is not good to re-install this on plesk servers. I have noticed that "Plesk Email Security" is already installed on server and enabled. So there is no need to install MagicSpam again on server.
Starting from October 31st, 2020, all MagicSpam licenses purchased via Plesk are canceled. This means that MagicSpam users can still use the extension in Plesk but no longer enjoy the benefits of using an official Plesk extension. That is, for instance, 100% compatibility with Plesk, affordable prices, and most importantly, 24/7 support from the Plesk support team.
For current MagicSpam users, itN is strongly recommended to uninstall MagicSpam immediately and replace it with Plesk Email Security.
What is going on between Plesk and MagicSpam?
What is going on between Plesk and MagicSpam?
What's going on between MagicSpam and Plesk. My licensed lasped and I purchased a new one from the website. When trying to install it a warning against it popped up.
Re: What is going on between Plesk and MagicSpam?
Due to our licensing agreement with Plesk having lapsed, Plesk is no longer an authorized reseller of MagicSpam. As such, MagicSpam is no longer directly available for purchase through the Plesk Extensions Catalog.
The information provided by Plesk about MagicSpam in the warning message where the claim is made that 'they' have stopped all support for MagicSpam might refer to the Plesk Team. It's disappointing that they have resorted to targeting our product in order to help their own add-on success. At best, the warning message has been very badly worded causing a lot of unnecessary confusion. We prefer not to presume as to why Plesk has chosen to target that message against MagicSpam.
Rest assured that MagicSpam Lite and PRO are still available for Plesk and can be purchased directly from any of our 175 authorized resellers or directly from our webstore.
MagicSpam for Plesk continues to be actively developed, receiving new features and updates every release cycle. Our development team works hard to ensure that MagicSpam remains 100% supported and compatible with Plesk and we are proud that our support team has a great reputation among customers.

Re: What is going on between Plesk and MagicSpam?
It's been my experience that MagicSpam is much more effective in preventing spam than Plesk Email Security.
