DNS Best Practices when using RBL's as part of MagicSpam

If using the Freemium version of MagicSpam for Plesk, or adding custom RBL's to 'any' MagicSpam product, if you are wondering why the RBL's aren't triggering any spam hits, consider who you are using for your DNS servers.

Using free DNS services can cause you problems, as many of them are prevented from doing queries to many RBL's.

Always ensure that you are using your hosting providers DNS servers, or your own DNS servers. You can even enable DNS services on your own Plesk server.
