Upgrade not working

Post by transcom » Mon Dec 06, 2010 8:13 am

Have just upgraded to 9.1 for plesk, centos 5 64 bit, and after 8 months of flawless operation, I now have magic spam NOT working at all, zilch, no results whatsoever, even though it shows as enabled.

Followed the install instruictions to a tee, what should I do now ?

Have sent a message to support, but no response.

In addition, on the dload page there are many options for my OS type, but no explanation as to which one to use, this question was asked by another user sometime ago but it hasnt been answered.

Response appreciated, customers are not too amused..

Handled via email.. but so the solution is listed...

- snip -
You purchased this license from your hosting provider, and the license shows
that it is valid until May/2011.

When you upgrade, it can happen that Parallels overwrites some part of the
installation, so I would suggest that the first thing you try is to re-install
your MagicSpam Module.

...

We will discuss this with the Parallels team, as they control the information
on their website, however you can also download from our download page.
Please make sure that you use the installation instructions as Parallels
provided you though. You should ensure that your 'License Key' is active in
the Plesk License Manager first as well.

- snip -

Many thanks for your fast response.

Im really sorry, but it was me being a complete dork, I had downloaded the wrong version. Re did it as you suggested and it works absolutely fine.

Please make sure you never go bankrupt, because if you did , we would... ! cant manage without magicspam

Cheers
