hi,
i use magicSpam v1.0.5-3.1 on our debian 5 64bit plesk 9.5.4 postfix nodes.
in magicSpam management, 'best practice rules' tab, i defined som 'custom rejection' message, but however default rejection texts are bounced.
Nov 15 08:55:00 server07 postfix/smtpd[16300]: NOQUEUE: milter-reject: RCPT from unknown[203.213.195.150]: 550 5.7.0 Server listed as abusive. IP=[203.213.195.150].Rejected by MagicSpam 1.0.5-3.1 (http://www.magicspam.com/).Visit http://www.linuxmagic.com/power_of_ip_reputation.html for more information;
i had a similar issue on an other node, where i could resolve the issue by stopping / restarting magicspam-milter. but on this current node, i had no success.
what can i do to activate 'custom rejection' bounce messages?
regards,
andi
Custom Rejection not taken
Re: Custom Rejection not taken
Hello Andi,
Could you confirm if the directory "/etc/magicspam/rejections" exists and contains files relative to the custom messages you created?
If it does exist and everything is looking good, try running the command:
/etc/init.d/magicspam-rn start
Please post back if this does not do the trick or there are other complications.
Thanks!

hi
'/etc/magicspam/rejections' did exist, but
# /etc/init.d/magicspam-rn start
did the trick, actually!
thank you,
