Correct directory permissions

Post by magicspam » Thu Jan 18, 2018 12:32 pm

You have migrated your Plesk system from one server to another, and you find that certain logs and statistics are not being generated properly in your and your customers' MagicSpam Pro interface. This is usually caused by directory permission being changed during the migration process.

Please review the following correct ownership and permission settings for the standard MagicSpam Pro directories in a Plesk server:

Code: Select all

/etc/magicspam/ = psaadm:psaadm
/etc/magicspam/bms = psaadm:psaadm
/etc/magicspam/control = psaadm:psaadm
/etc/magicspam/db = magicspam:magicspam
/etc/magicspam/dynaregex = psaadm:psaadm
/etc/magicspam/rejections = magicspam:magicspam
/etc/magicspam/.secret_key = magicspam:magicspam

/var/log/magicspam = magicspam:magicspam

/var/cache/magicspampro/bms/ = psaadm:psaadm
/var/cache/magicspampro/users/ = psaadm:psaadm
/var/cache/magicspampro/users/<number>/ = psaadm:psaadm
/var/cache/magicspampro/users/<number>/magicspam/ = psaadm:psaadm
/var/cache/magicspampro/users/<number>/magicspam/control/ = psaadm:psaadm
/var/cache/magicspampro/users/<number>/magicspam/control/*files* = psaadm:psaadm
/var/cache/magicspampro/users/<number>/magicspam/logs / = magicspam:magicspam
