Hi,
The Dashboard page doesnt show any statistics at all. All users have started complaining of excessive amount of spam. Currently we are using version 2.1.2. Tried upgrading to the latest version but that shows the error
[root@server5 public_html]# rpm -Uvh magicspampro-cpanel-2.1-5.3-rhel764-cpnl11.x86_64.rpm error: Failed dependencies:
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.14)(64bit) is needed by magicspampro-cpanel-2.1-5.3.x86_64
libdb-5.3.so()(64bit) is needed by magicspampro-cpanel-2.1-5.3.x86_64
It seems MagicSpam Pro is not working / filtering any messages at all. What could be done as we are bogged down by calls from our customers.
Magicspam Pro doesnt seem to be working
Re: Magicspam Pro doesnt seem to be working
Hello webtern,
Thank you for your post.
We are sorry to hear you ran into an issue with MagicSpam and we will work with you to have this resolved.
Is the MagicSpam Protection Status under Settings -> System currently
disabled? If you click 'Enable Protection', is there an error message?
Please provide a screenshot of your MagicSpam Dashboard page and any error messages.
In addition, could you fill us in on these details about your platform:
- Operating System and Version
- Operating System Architecture (32 bit or 64 bit)
- MTA (Qmail, Postfix, Exim)
From the error messages we understand that you are using MagicSpam PRO version; if that is correct, you can try to reinstall MagicSpam PRO on your system using the following commands (run as 'root'):
1. To ensure the MagicSPam pro version is removed
rpm -e magicspampro-cpanel
2. Download the most recent MagicSpam Pro file for your system, from our download page:
http://www.magicspam.com/download/
and install it using:
rpm -i /path/to/the/rpm/file
3. register your MagicSpam Pro license key from the MagicSpam Pro interface in WHM/cPanel
Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.
