Hello swanzey,

Thank you for your post.

Our development team is aware of this issue and is currently investigating it.

The error message means that the MagicSpam Rate Limiter thread is failing to process the rate limit files in the queue.

Could you please take a look at C:\magicspam\db\queue, let us know how many files are in there?

Also could you please try and reinstall MagicSpam and let us know if that resolves the issue?

Please note that all your MagicSpam settings and configuration will be preserved during the reinstall.

Thank you,

Hello swanzey

Thank you for your post.

Would you be able to let us know the file name of the installer you used to install MagicSpam?

In addition could you please send us a screenshot of the resulting window of going to the 'Services' applet (Administrative Tools) and double
clicking on the 'MailEnable SMTP Connector' service - in particular we wish to see the 'path to executable' value.

Lastly, can you please fill us in in the following information about your platform:

- MagicSpam Version
- Operating System and Version
- Operating System Architecture (32 bit or 64 bit)
- MailEnable Version

Thank you.

Hello swanzey,

Thank you for your post.

It would appear based on the screen shot of the running service that your MailEnable installation is, for SMTP at least - currently running a 32 bit version - however, the MagicSpam installation is intended for 64 bit.

If you could please try removing MagicSpam (all of your settings will be retained) then downloading and installing the 32 bit version of MagicSpam, we believe this will resolve these issues you have been experiencing.

Let us know if that does the trick or if additional troubleshooting is required.

thank you...

Just to make sure, even going from a 64 to 32 bit version of magicspam, all the settings will still be retained when uninstalling a 64 bit version and installing the 32 bit version of magicspam?

Hello swanzey,

Thank you for your question.

You are correct, during the reinstall of MagicSpam using 32 bit over 64 bit version, all your MagicSpam settings will be preserved.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
