I have been using the MagicSpam system via a browser on the server (using 127.0.0.1), but i would like to be able to login via a browser not on the server. Is this possible?
My Brother needs to check the spam for sites he administers, but he doesn't want, or need, to log into the server itself.
Thanks
Andy
Access MagicSpam from the web
Re: Access MagicSpam from the web
Hello and1m,
Thank you for your post.
We understand that you (or your brother) would like to be able to access the MagicSpam interface from outside of your server. This can be achieved with the following URL:
https://Your_Server_IP:6244/
If you still have problems accessing the MagicSpam interface from outside of your server, there may be a firewall settings issue. If you would like us to help troubleshoot this further, please (for security reasons) email the following information to our support team directly at support@magicspam.com:
- MailEnable version
- MagicSpam version
- MagicSpam License Key
- Windows version and architecture
- the configuration file "c:\magicspam\conf\httpd.conf"
- the output of "netstat -an | find 6244" from the Command Prompt
Thank you!
