MagicSpam PRO for cPanel 2.1-15.2 and MagicSpam LITE for cPanel 2.0.10-1 have been released

Dear MagicSpam Customers,

We are pleased to announce that the MagicSpam PRO for cPanel 2.1-15.2 and MagicSpam LITE for cPanel 2.0.10-1 releases are now available.

MagicSpam PRO for cPanel 2.1-15.2
  • New Feature: RATS-AUTH Authentication Restriction Security Policy
  • New Feature: Local SMTP Sender Require Authentication Spam Policy
  • New Feature: User-level Quarantine Settings
  • Update: Added support for CloudLinux 8
  • Update: Improved performance of cPanel Packages module
  • Update: Updated 'Mailboxes with Protection Disabled' list to not skip SpamAssassin checks
  • Bug Fix: Updated user permissions repair script to handle more edge cases

MagicSpam LITE for cPanel 2.0.10-1
  • New Feature: Local SMTP Sender Require Authentication Spam Policy
  • Update: Added support for CloudLinux 8
  • Update: Updated 'Mailboxes with Protection Disabled' list to not skip SpamAssassin checks

If you have already upgraded to the BETA version of any releases above, then you already have the latest version and don't need to do anything else.

To upgrade, you can either use the 'Upgrade Now' button at the bottom of the alerts message in your MagicSpam admin interface panel or run the following command (as root):

/usr/share/magicspam/bin/package-updater -o -a
You also have the option to install or manually upgrade MagicSpam by following these steps:
  1. Download the package from the Download Site
  2. Upload the package onto your server
  3. Log in as root to a terminal on your server
  4. Install the package by running the command

    Code: Select all

    rpm -Uvh /path/to/package
    

Rest assured that all your MagicSpam configurations will be preserved after the upgrade.
