There is a condition we have found in certain configurations of Plesk in which service plans are assigned, but modifications are made to the subscription itself - such as changing the disk quota or bandwidth limits etc. that in turn cause the Plesk API to 'lock' the subscription from synchronizing on changes and updates. This in turn causes package assignment to fail to create the configuration settings directory for the subscription leading to apparent inability to enable protection on a domain.
You can try the following to fix this condition:
On the MagicSpam interface 'Packages' page
Click on the 'Sync' button beside the package that is assigned to the subscription
This *should* force the backend system to do a forced read of all subscriptions that are nominally assigned a service plan and generate the necessary directory structures from there.
Please post back if this works or if additional troubleshooting is required.
Thanks!
