We're new at MagicSpam, and everything looks good so far.
Sending out normal mails are taking a few extra minutes as they go out, which isn't all too surprising, but that's offset by the lack of spam incoming, a huge blessing.
Question: Our server has several (double opt-in) mailing lists, all run with PHPList. Normally, we send out about 12,000 to 45,000 emails, which we do slowly (about 350/hr) so we don't run afoul of the big email domains who will autoban if too many come at once from small outfits like us.
But, almost every big email outfit likes to "softbounce" our newsletters, bouncing them once back. There, the're held by the server and sent out again, and the second time, the email services take the newsletters, no harm, no foul. We only send out newsletters from the specific domain account on the server, so our bounce handler address and other phplist related material is on a domain we've removed from the magic spam system (using the control panel page).
Is there anything else that we need to do so our newsletters run 'independently' from magic spam?
We're running CentOS6 with Cpanel, but that shouldn't matter.
Mailinglist and softbounces
Re: Mailinglist and softbounces
Hello WindyT
From what you described, your send mail program works independently from MagicSpam, is there particular issue you are experiencing when sending messages?
Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Re: Mailinglist and softbounces
No, I think whitelisting the accounts ended up working fine.
The slowdown we thought was coming from the connection between Magic Spam and us was internal and has been resolved.
Thanks.
