Thanks - I can confirm it worked as expected overnight.
I am, though, having one last error show up in logs - probably related:

Totally misread that, sorry...
Checked contents of /etc/cron.d/magicspam-update and the user was set to qmaild.
I've now set it to magicspam.

Re: Log File Rotation: Permission Denied
Thanks.
Both files you asked me to check were set as root:root.
I've set them both to magicspam:magicspam now and will let you know tomorrow once it's had time to run through.

Re: Log File Rotation: Permission Denied
Sorry, forogot to return here to check for replies - I assumed I'd get an email alerting me (any chance you can enable this feature please?). I did have to change from Postfix to Qmail back to Postfix to fix something in Plesk, however all permissions are set correctly. I currently use Postfix and /...

Log File Rotation: Permission Denied
Hi, I'm having nightly emails at 00:00 regarding magic spam trying to rotate its log files: mv: cannot move `/var/log/magicspam/mslog' to `/var/log/magicspam/mslog.1': Permission denied I have manually moved them around, but the permissions are set as: # ls -la total 9560 drwxr-xr-x 2 magicspam magi...

Re: magicSpam stops checking mails from time to time
I am using MagicSpam for Plesk (Postfix) v1.0.4-9.1.
I do have backup software, but nothing that touches the mail server.
I don't run any clustering etc.
I too, will keep an eye on it.

Re: magicSpam stops checking mails from time to time
Hi, I wanted to add to this thread as I'm having the same issue - I think i've managed to tie it down to disabling when the mail server (postfix for me) is restarted. It is still showing as "enabled" on the config page - disabling then re-enabling will get it going again. I have things lik...

Re: Account overrun with spam
Yes, sorry - It's a snapshot of the current mail queue. At that time, there were four emails which were being attempted to be sent from genuine users with genuine looking subjects. I can only assume they were in there for longer than the amount of times I checked due to a problem at the recieving se...
