Hello Rimbaldi,

Thank you for your question.

If you wish to ad the entire range of Ip addresses to the Whitelist, please add them in the form of:

10.10.10.1 - 10.10.10.255

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks, I had entered 10.10.10.0 - 10.10.10.255 but it didn't work. now i changed the first ip from 0 to 1 and i hope it works.
Another question since often the ip classes for example 10.10.1.1 - 10.10.255.255 is the same all right?
Thank you

Hello Rimbaldi,

Thank you for your reply.

To troubleshoot this issue could you please confirm that your MagicSpam is updated to the latest version: 2.1-8.2?

Also could you please provide us a screenshot showing the exemption section and any error messages?

Lastly, can you please clarify if you are unable to enter the range in the exemptions section or you are able to enter it but emails are not being blocked?

Thank you.

Hello Rimbaldi,

Thank you for providing us the requested information.

As the sender is already rate limited by the MagicSpam Inbound Rate Limiter, messages would continue being rate limited (blocked) until the Rate Limit expires - hence "RATELIMIT[Inbound]" log entries.

Once the rate limit has expired, please check to see if any entries in the logs, that are coming from blacklisted IPs are marked as "HAM".

If you notice any HAM log entries from these IP addresses in the future, please let us know and we will further troubleshoot this issue.

yes, once the time of the rate limiter block expires, I start to get mail ham from those addresses again until it is rejected again for having reached the limit. Blacklisting the complete class does not work. Spam has increased in the past few weeks and blocking systems have to work best to protect my customers.
Thank you
