I recently (Jan 2023) installed MS Pro on my WHM server. I have gone in and added the countries that most attempt to do SMTP Authentication, including Iran, Islamic Republic of (IR).

Stats this morning show no slow down in authentication attempts:

Anything I need to do to get this to work?

Hello quasarray,

The country Iran (IR) showing up in the Authentication by Country: Failure Statistics is a good sign. It means that the Country Authentication Restriction is successfully stopping authentications from the blocked country, i.e. 24478 authentication attempts from Iran were blocked that day.

You can also review the MagicSpam Authentication Logs for more information on these authentication attempts via:

MagicSpam Admin Panel >> Logs >> Authentication Log Search

Set the following filters to search for blocked authentication attempts:

Code: Select all

Filter By: Authentication Failure
    Limit: None (Unchecked)
