Route all incoming spam to a single email

Post by rohanb105 » Tue Sep 22, 2020 5:45 am

Hello Team,
I have just purchased MagicSpam Pro for a client and their request is to redirect all spam to 1 email account.
1. is this even possible ?
2. How much of a risk this is for the entire domain to receive spam ?

Thanks Rohan

Hello rohanb105,

Thank you for your post.

Please note that MagicSpam does not yet have a feature where all spam can be sent to a single email account.

That said, your customer can configure MagicSpam policies in "FLAG" mode in their own per-user MagicSpam settings which can then be filtered based on the Subject line according to options set in Anti-Spam / System / Options / Advanced Options section in your MagicSpam admin-interface panel. There, you have the option to set the "Rewrite Subject Text:" which you or your customers can use to filter/forward such messages to dedicated email address. Please note that such filtering should be available in the email client, and possibly in WHM/cPanel.

For your second question, as this option would be done on the email client side, this should not affect other user's on the domain.

We hope this information helps.
