Cannot Update - Logs Not Working.

Post by midstate » Thu Aug 24, 2023 2:45 pm

I'm showing two updates are available but I'm unable to. When I click to update it says no updates are available, yet they still show in the notifications area.

Also, I can no longer see any logs so cannot block spammers using that method.

Please advise.

Thank you

Same problem.
How to solve it?

I completely reinstalled and that fixed it but now it's doing it again.

I've also had client email vanish into thin air while obvious spam has gotten through.

How do I fix this? Why is this thread being ignored?

Sorry, old topic, but so it is recorded....

A new release of MagicSpam was published December 11th, 2023, that addresses log search issues, stability issues, as well as package upgrade issues.

If anyone is trying to upgrade, but the interface 'upgrade now' does not work, you will need to download the updated package manually from:

https://www.magicspam.com/download

Once downloaded, transfer to your cPanel server, and use the following command to upgrade:

* IF this is a RPM based OS (eg Redhat, CentOS, CloudLinux)

Code: Select all

rpm -Uvh /path/to/package
* IF this is a DEB based OS (eg: Ubuntu)

Code: Select all

dpkg -i /path/to/package
