MagicSpam PLUS for Zimbra 2.1-11.1 and MagicSpam LITE for Zimbra 2.0.10-1 have been released

Dear MagicSpam Customers,

We are pleased to announce that the MagicSpam PLUS for Zimbra 2.1-11.1 and MagicSpam LITE for Zimbra 2.0.10-1 releases are now available.

MagicSpam PLUS for Zimbra 2.1-11.1
  • New Feature: RATS-AUTH Authentication Restriction Security Policy
  • New Feature: Local SMTP Sender Require Authentication Spam Policy
  • Update: Added support for CloudLinux 8
  • Update: Updated MagicSpam HTTPD with stronger security certificate

MagicSpam LITE for Zimbra 2.0.10-1
  • New Feature: Local SMTP Sender Require Authentication Spam Policy
  • Update: Added support for CloudLinux 8
  • Update: Updated MagicSpam HTTPD with stronger security certificate

The PLUS and LITE versions of MagicSpam for Zimbra will no longer be supported on these operating systems starting from the next release.
  • Debian 7 (wheezy) 32/64-bit

If you're currently using one of the listed operating systems, please make plans to upgrade your operating system to keep being eligible for the latest MagicSpam releases.

If you have already upgraded to the BETA version of any releases above, then you already have the latest version and don't need to do anything else.

To upgrade, you can either use the 'Upgrade Now' button at the bottom of the alerts message in your MagicSpam admin interface panel or run the following command (as root):

/usr/share/magicspam/bin/package-updater -o -a
You also have the option to install or manually upgrade MagicSpam by following these steps:
  1. Download the package from the Download Site
  2. Upload the package onto your server
  3. Log in as root to a terminal on your server
  4. Install the package by running the appropriate command based on your distribution

    # Redhat (RHEL, CentOS, CloudLinux)
    rpm -Uvh /path/to/package
    
    # Debian
    dpkg -i /path/to/package
    

Rest assured that all your MagicSpam configurations will be preserved after the upgrade.
