Hi,
We are getting an error while trying to send mail like:
451 (qmail-spp failure: plugins/magicspam-plesk: child crashed (#4.3.0).
When we disable magicspam from Plesk control panel it starts working. Please suggest how to solve this problem.

You emailed this question as well, which was responded to, but we would like to make the information available to everybody in the event it is needed at some point in the future.
If you could please do the following on your Plesk server:
* Create directory /var/cores/magicspam
* chmod -R 1777 /var/cores/magicspam
* Enable MagicSpam - remain enabled until the 'child crashed' event
occurs again
* Disable magicspam
In the directory /var/cores/magicspam, there should then be a
subdirectory matching a process id for the crashed segment. Inside that
should be a file called 'core'.
If you could please forward that file to debug [at] magicspam [dot] com, then our
developers can investigate accordingly.

Thank you, but that doesn't help for this particular case. We need the core file to diagnose this issue, not varied log entries. If you can not provide this information then there is little we can do to assess your unique situation.

Hello,
We have created the directory /var/cores/magicspam and set the permissions accordingly but we are not getting any crash dumps inside that directory. Please suggest. We have even restarted the server but without any luck.

Diadem

Also we can provide you our server access in case it is needed to sort out the issue. Please help us as we are getting thousands of SPAM mails after it has stopped functioning.

After creating the directory, did you get any "451 (qmail-spp failure: plugins/magicspam-plesk: child crashed (#4.3.0)." messages again? There likely wouldn't be a core dump unless there was an error that required one (such as the crash).

Sorry about that. There was a step we neglected to mention previously. You need to do the following:
echo 1 > /etc/magicspam/control/dump_core
That tells the system to actually do the core dump in the event an error like that occurs.

We have done the same, but still there is no core dump. Please suggest.
