Dynamic/Dialup Rule catches Static IP's

My Plesk 9.2.2 installation has the "Block Mail Servers on Dynamic/Dial-Up Addresses" selected as an ENABLED RULE, but it still blocks some IP's that have a "static" in the reverse DNS
?
ie:
67.62.192.202 "static-67-62-192-202.t1.cavtel.net" - Cavalier Telephone is a major ISP here and all the Static IP's on Fiber, DSL or T1 are blocked under the dial-up rule.

Any workarounds?

Hello,

While you are correctly stating that the source IP address is a static one, we need to point out that the source IP is *NOT* conforming to best practice standards with regards to email servers. For further information on this please refer to:

http://www.linuxmagic.com/best_practice ... omain.html

As to working around this - we of course realize that controlling the reverse DNS of said servers is not within your control, (though the senders of the source email should have gotten a detailed bounce message stating what is wrong). In the meantime, if there are source domains that have not yet contacted their ISP to have their rDNS updated properly, you can use the IP Exemption list or from whitelists.

We hope this information helps
