Does MagicSpam install run off Plesk SpamAssassin?

just as the subject states, "Does MagicSpam install run off Plesk SpamAssassin?"

i'm running plesk 9.3.0 on ubuntu server 8.0.4 hardy heron and spamassassin component says it is no longer installed? prior to installing MagicSpam we were using spamassassin to help manage spam?

are we able to use MagicSpam AND SpamAssassin on our server?
does MagicSpam turn off SpamAssassin?

MagicSpam takes action before the message is passed to SpamAssassin, therefore reducing the number of messages which SpamAssassin has to process. Since it occurs before SpamAssassin runs, MagicSpam should have no effect on SpamAssassin running. There shouldn't be anything in the MagicSpam installation process which disables SpamAssassin.

You should be able to simply re-enable SpamAssassin on your server.

most of been my plesk 9.3.0 update that temporarily took down spamassassin?!
