Serveral clients on my server are getting reports from thier senders of rejected emails like this:
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.
<mga-exchange1.morstan.local #5.5.0 smtp;550-Your message was rejected by this system and was not delivered.>
My guess it is the ".local" in the server name that is being rejected. The exchange tech on the other end says no, it's our problem. Well it is until we can prove other wise. Please help. Thanks!
Exchange Server emails being blocked
Re: Exchange Server emails being blocked
Can you please provide some logs regarding the emails that received that message? You can search for the relevant data in the MagicSpam interface, or on the server itself.

Were you able to get this resolved? Did it turn out that the .local extension was the cause?
