i just purchased the magicspam product 2 days ago. the original magic spam download link i got from plesk for my ubuntu 8.04 / qmail was for amd64bit (magicspam-plesk-1.0.4-4.2-hardy64-9x.amd64.deb), this might've corrupted the install since i'm on a xeon 32bit system?!
anyhow, i rechecked the link after installing this module didn't work and the new file is named, "magicspam-plesk-1.0.4-4.2-hardy-9x.i386.deb". i've removed the original install and tried to re-install several times through the plesk add module interface and through the ubuntu package manager. all with no success. PLEASE HELP!!!
thanks in advance for *any* help!

can't install
Re: can't install
Hello James,
If you could please try the following steps:
* remove any/all magicspam packages - try the following command:
apt-get --purge remove magicspam
* Manually install the package through the dpkg command line tool:
dpkg -i /path/to/uploaded/magicspam/package
and post back what the end results are
Thanks

Re: can't install
Sorry, the removal command should be:

Re: can't install
As per discussion on phone with Paul, this issue has since been resolved.
The missing 'php' interpreter was as a result of what on the surface seems to be a broken Plesk installation. A proper install will have a 'symlink' path for /usr/local/psa which in turn points to the proper installation path of the version in question. In this particular case the symlink did not exist or was removed.
Let us know if there are any other questions or issues that arise!
