Re: Attempting To Improve Accuracy

Most mail clients will correctly interpret the \n character as a newline. For whatever reason, either a mail server or the mail client is escaping the newline, resulting in the printed \n. However, I will bring this up with management to see if there are any plans to move to a message format that do...

Re: Attempting To Improve Accuracy

Which email client is being used to view the rejection message? Have you tried other email clients or webmail providers? Some of them may render the \n characters differently.

Re: Postfix / Magicspam Instability

Thank you for letting us know that the MagicSpam count stops if the attachment size is changed. I'll pass that along to the developers for investigation.

We're glad to hear that you're able to get rid of 80,000 spam messages per day!

Re: Magicspam crashed

Given that the steps we gave you didn't create the desired output, we may need to have a look at your server to determine what the issue is. If you are still willing to provide access, please send an email to support [at] magicspam [dot] com with the login details.

Re: Attempting To Improve Accuracy

If you are seeing false positives when you use the other lists and one of your primary concerns is to avoid false positives, you may want to avoid using those lists. As to whether MagicSpam is invoked before or after the Plesk protection, that depends on which MTA you're running. For Postfix, MagicS...

Re: Magicspam crashed

Sorry about that. There was a step we neglected to mention previously. You need to do the following:

echo 1 > /etc/magicspam/control/dump_core

Re: Activation confusing - Product Superb

I will happily pass along the suggestion regarding the installation document.

Re: Magicspam crashed

After creating the directory, did you get any "451 (qmail-spp failure: plugins/magicspam-plesk: child crashed (#4.3.0)." messages again? There likely wouldn't be a core dump unless there was an error that required one (such as the crash).

Re: Magicspam crashed

Thank you, but that doesn't help for this particular case. We need the core file to diagnose this issue, not varied log entries. If you can not provide this information then there is little we can do to assess your unique situation.
