Re: check_ip_reverse_dns problem?
# host 159.148.146.66 66.146.148.159.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer mail.cpcs.lv. I will also ask client to retry e-mail sending on Monday from that server. For now we included them into whitelist. Please check code, because I'm not sure that they fixed situation themselves. We can't even call the...

Re: MagicSpam Wishlist
Here's another idea - a user-level access to whitelists, so they could add their hosted e-mails to 'recipient' whitelist, because now we had to do it for them and usually it's very time-consuming and disturbing to add few dozens of e-mails from one domain to whitelist.

Re: Recommended settings - why?
My question in fact was why you recommend some policies while others not. As an example - "Valid FROM domain" vs "Block Mail Servers on Dynamic/Dial-up Addresses" policy.

Re: Plesk Antispam Techniques?
The problem is that you are using it at the filtering level. AFTER the connection is severed, as part of your SpamAssassin module right? At that point in the email processing you do not have the smtp-auth information available any more. We use it as Plesk's RBL (DNSBL) for qmail (smtp_psa/rblsmtpd)...

Just one point...
First of all I would like to thank Wizard IT for great product. MagicSpam isn't totally white and innocent and yes, we had some problems with it, but finally it's up and running as we wish to and we love it! I must mention that support is very operative and helpful. One of the strongest pros of Magi...

Re: MagicSpam Wishlist
It would be also good to include mailuser existence check (or skip on catch-all domains), because I found today that MagicSpam passes as HAM mail to non-existent mailbox with no catch-all on that domain (this technique often used for backscatternig). But then it should also provide mail harvesting p...

Plesk Antispam Techniques?
Do you guys use/don't use Plesk's SPF, DomainKeys, RBLs, SpamAssassin, Submission port for antispam? Why? For example we use bogusmx.rfc-ignorant.org, dsn.rfc-ignorant.org and sbl.spamhaus.org for RBL block. I found that a pair of our clients IPs are in Spamhaus's pbl list (and as you know Plesk doe...

Recommended settings - why?
First of all I would like to say thanks for right product - Plesk really lacks of many smtp filtering functions (like graylisting). But I would like to rise a question about recommendations (Best Practices) that we have to really follow. For example I'm not sure why you don't recommend "Valid F...
