I just upgraded Plesk and now MagicSpam doesn't work!

We have had some users report that after upgrading Plesk, MagicSpam ceases to function. This is because the Plesk updater overwrites some key files.

In order to avoid this when you're upgrading your Plesk installation, please disable MagicSpam first, do the upgrade, then re-enable MagicSpam. This way, you do not have to worry about "breaking" the installation and missing out on spam protection.

We were upgraded to 9.5.1 and MagicSpam not working. Can you tell me how to resolve. TIA

It should be exactly the same procedure - disable MagicSpam and then enable it again. That should allow it to resume normal operations.

Thanks. If you mean simply clicking on Disable/Enable Protection tab on the Dashboard, I've done this with no results. Still showing Enabled, but with nothing being blocked. Our 350 customer emails a day are currently 1500!

Could you please try uninstalling MagicSpam and then installing the newest version? We released some new packages this morning that may help address this.
