Hello Sam,

You also sent us an email about this, but we wanted to include our answer here so that all of our customers could benefit from your great question!

MagicSpam does not *yet* have support for quarantine or 'spam folders'. This is however on the roadmap for the MagicSpam PRO series expected to be developed and released later this year.

We hope this information helps!

Hello pcready.cl

Thank you for your inquiry.

The feature to deliver messages detected as spam to the user is now available in the form of message flagging feature. You can now configure any policy in the "FLAG" mode, which would cause messages to be delivered to the customer's Spam folder or their inbox depending on the configuration. Messages flagged as spam are marked as "QUARANTINE" in MagicSpam logs.

Please note that the FLAG feature is only available in MagicSpam PRO and PLUS versions.

You can simply configure any available Server Policy or BMS list in the “FLAG” mode to ensure that if that policy is hit, the message will be accepted for delivery. Once you have enabled messages flagging, please review and adjust flag settings from the:

Anti-Spam (Settings) / System / 'Options' / “Advanced Options”

section in MagicSpam admin-interface panel.

There you have the option to rewrite the subject of the incoming local or remote messages with the “Rewrite Subject Text” and such messages will be delivered to the customer's Inbox.

If you prefer such messages to go directly to the customer's Spam folder, please enable “Deliver to Spam Folder” option. Flagged messages are logged with the "QUARANTINE" type field in the MagicSpam logs search results.

There are three states a rule or policy can be set as:

ON – The policy or rule is strictly enforced and all triggered emails get quarantined
FLAG – The policy or rule is strictly enforced but it will only flag an email as spam
OFF – The policy or rule will not be used to trigger spam hits

We hope that you find this guide to troubleshooting false positives useful.
