MIPSpace-poor a tad to aggressive? Any suggestions?

Post by nosajix » Fri Aug 28, 2015 2:38 pm

I get that there are a lot of commercial mailers abusing the system but I found that MIPSpace-poor catches constant contact and now I just found that it also catches the email from password requests on drop box. This is rough..

Any suggestions from the community?

Hello nosajix,

Thank you for your post.

The Constant Contact issue is a controversial one, as it is very difficult to separate the good and the bad, based on the way they choose to deliver email.

You can 'whitelist' "*@in.constanctcontact.com", but the reason it is on MIPSPACE is because of the amount of unwanted email marketing reported, so be aware that this can increase uncaught unwanted email.

As far as dropbox emails, you can allow it by adding "*@email.dropbox.com" to the whitelist.

The '*' wildcard is generally not recommended, but for a case like this, it might be your only recourse.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or comments in regards to MagicSpam. Thank you.
