MagicSpam PRO for Plesk 2.1-8 is officially released!

Post by magicspam » Tue Sep 26, 2017 1:38 pm

As part of our continued efforts to provide the best anti-spam experience for hosting providers, we are pleased to inform you that we now have a new release 2.1-8 available for upgrade!

In response to your feedback, we have now made available a new core feature in MagicSpam PRO:

- The ability to manage customer spam template defaults and active rules and IP reputation lists

This release also includes:

- updates for several broken layouts when using languages other than English.

- an added ability to see what spam rules / IP Reputation lists *would* stop a message that otherwise bypasses MagicSpam Protection.

To upgrade, you can simply click on the 'Upgrade Now' button from the MagicSpam Alerts page. In the event that this does not work, you can also upgrade by running the command:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/modules/magicspampro/package-updater -o -a

or alternatively you can download the updated package at:

http://www.magicspam.com/download

and install it via the Plesk Extensions page.

Please be aware that as of this release and all future releases of MagicSpam PRO for Plesk, we will no longer support 5.x versions of RHEL/CentOS/CloudLinux. While RHEL includes an extended life cycle package extending to November 30, 2020, the platform itself has been end of production since March of 2017. If you have not yet upgraded your operating system platform, you are strongly encouraged to do so in order to ensure you receive the latest software updates and security enhancements.

We have also set a date of October 31st, 2017 to deprecate support for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS which was officially end of life in April 2015 - once again you are strongly encouraged to upgrade to a more recent platform.

Thanks and as always, if you have any questions, feature requests, or ideas on how to improve this product, please feel free to share with us on our public forums:

Thanks and enjoy!
