Open-beta Packages Available for MagicSpam (All Platforms)

Post by magicspam » Wed Sep 10, 2014 2:10 pm

We are at the tail end of a development "sprint" to release MagicSpam 1.0.8 and as such we are be looking for feedback on everything from capabilities, usability and user interfaces.

Starting with user interface changes; historically the interfaces for MagicSpam, while simple to use, did not have that common look and feel across their components, and although fully functional was admittedly a little simplistic. This time we are spending more time to give MagicSpam a common look and feel across all menus and screens. This should result in an easier to use and understand interface which also provides a more comfortable "warm and fuzzy" user experience.

There were some features which started off as being exclusive to MagicSpam PRO which we have included in each of the MagicSpam platforms; namely the fully configurable inbound and outbound rate limiters which can be used to protect your customers from high-volume spammers as well as protecting your IP reputation from customers whose accounts may have become compromised.

There have been improvements to some "behind the scenes" utilities as well, including improved log rotation and more robust integration into the underlying platforms' mail servers. These should result in increased stability and performance across all platforms!

You can download the latest packages from our download site using your license key. Please note that as of this writing, the MailEnable packages aren't quite ready yet due to some packaging hold-ups, but they should be available by the end of the day today.

If you have any bug reports, feature requests, or wish lists for MagicSpam, as always please post on the forums as we are always happy to receive feedback to continue improving the product.
