Hello systeam,

Thank you for the post.

In order to utilize the subject rewrite function on detected spam messages, you will need to have the MagicSpam Pro version installed.

In MagicSpam Pro, under the anti-spam policy settings:

Settings / Server Policies
Settings / IP Reputation

, you are able to slide the "Status" bar to the "Flag" option, in addition to
the standard Off/On options.

To define that the subject rewrite text is, please access the section

Settings / System / "Rewrite Subject Text:"

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hello systeam,

Thank you for the reply.

You are correct:

When a rule is set to "ON", and the remote IP triggers the rule, the message is rejected right away.
If a rule is set to "FLAG", and the remote IP triggers the rule, the message is accepted with the Subject rewritten (with "***spam***", for example).
If a rule is set to "Off", the rule does not get activated for all incoming emails when MagicSpam performs anti-spam checks.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
