Management of MagicSpam Postfix

Post by cristtiah » Mon Mar 09, 2015 2:27 pm

Hi, I have a Plesk Automation 11.5 platform and I have been told that MagicSpam will not work on this except if I install MagicSpam Postfix independently from one of the Service Nodes (LINUX dedicated server). Does anyone know how I can manage the MagicSpam for Postfix? Will it be a GUI that I can access or manually changing it through ssh? Thanks.

Hello Cristtiah,

Our sales team informed us that they had also sent a reply to you previously. For everyone's benefit, we have included this reply below:
While we have a working MagicSpam module for Parallels Plesk, we do not
at this time have a MagicSpam module for Parallels Automation - which
as we understand utilizes mail via a centralized Virtuozzo container
for mail in a manner non-congruent with classic 'Plesk' mail services.

If you wish to deploy MagicSpam for individual Plesk containers however
that are running independent mail services, then you most certainly can
look at the MagicSpam for Plesk packages - which cover both Postfix and
Qmail MTAs. Please note that MagicSpam for Postfix is a different
product, intended for 'standalone' postfix installations, not Plesk.
If you are interested in running MagicSpam for Postfix stanalone on independent nodes, you can do this. But if it is Postifx running on Plesk, you would be better served by using MagicSpam for Plesk.

We hope this helps!
