Magic Spam for MailEnable Standalone Issue

There will always be opinions, both good and bad on how MagicSpam protection, rules and policies are used, and what the defaults should be. Different environments may have different needs. We try to find the perfect balance, and that is not always easy. Just remember that we have to satisfy millions of users.. not just one person.

Magic Spam for MailEnable Standalone Issue

Post by mgbhosting » Tue Apr 27, 2010 7:47 am

Hello,

Yesterday i bought a license for Mailenable. The software was installed successfully and it was working today one hour until some of my customers start call, because the mail service was unavailable to send mails. We told them to do a telnet and the connection was lost.

We had to stop Magic Spam and everything was normal after stopping it.
Please tell me what can i change or do to make it work, since its very strange.

All configuration are default, and we didnt change nothing.
Thanks

Your customers were unable to send email? Are they set up to use SMTP authentication or are they part of a trusted network? Either of those things should alleviate any issues with sending. Could you please provide some log entries for the emails that were rejected?
