....We do suggest that you turn off any RBL's in
Postfix and rely on the checks with MagicSpam, making it easier to identify
issues, and better logging.

Re: MagicSpam will have Auto Whitelist??
Hi m0rpheu5,
Thanks very much for the suggestion.
It is a good suggestion and one that we have been considering for
MagicSpam and MagicMail also.
We have added it for consideration on the feature request list.

Re: Mail rejected from specific rule
Hi Dwdietz, It's possible that you are getting a bounce message generated by the sending server, not the receiving one. A receiving MagicMail server should give the following message when check_dynamic_reverse_dns is triggered: Dynamic Style reverse DNS IP=[x.x.x.x] http://www.linuxmagic.com/best_pr...

Re: Most of the mails are being passed as Not-Spam
Hi Diadem, Are you able to send screen shots and some sample log entries to support@magicspam.com? Also let us know if you see any spam at all being caught in the logs for the one server that isn't working properly. If there is none, then probably the MagicSpam module is not running on that server. ...

Re: Can't send mail to a particular domain
Ok... we have run some tests now and have been able to duplicate the issue - the bounce / rejection being generated is rather misleading.. So.. which server is it that you are administering? 66.228.124.150 or 207.45.177.18 ? Based on the logs you have posted, those are from the 66.228.124.150 server...

Re: Exempting netblocks
Although this is certainly on our list of features to include in the future, the IP whitelist only supports single IP addresses at the moment. CIDR notation is currently not supported.

Re: How to block a pattern from an email
Thanks for sending your question! This particular email (and several others) would have been stopped if you had the following rule enabled: Block Mail Servers on Dynamic/Dial-up Addresses (rule name: check_dynamic_reverse_dns) This rule checks the reverse DNS of the connecting IP address to see if i...

Re: Emails with inline Images not being blocked
If you have uncaught spam that can be forwarded with full headers intact, then feel free to sent them along to spamauditor@linuxmagic.com. From there our spam analysis team can determine if there are improvements, patterns, or new spam IP space that can be added to our internally maintained lists.

Re: Statistics does not update
Could you please confirm that you are running 32bit RHEL4? It appears that one of the statistics files is missing which is why the data is not displaying in the interface at all.
Thanks!
